Virtual Gubernatorial Debate!
If you haven’t been able (or willing) to sit through a gubernatorial debate, wait until you see what Austin Tea Party Patriots and Common Sense Texans cooked up. The first Texas Virtual Gubernatorial Debate is now available on You Tube!
Greg and Judy Holloway of Austin Tea Party Patriots solicited questions from Common Sense Texans group leaders around the state and submitted them to Perry, Medina, Hutchison and White in a series of videos that puts their answers side-by-side. (Farouk Shami was offered the opportunity to answer questions as well, but scheduling issues prevented it.) You can hear each candidate answer the questions on their own, without the distraction of television cameras, audiences and their opponents.
Kudos to Greg and Judy for the fabulous idea, and to all the Common Sense Texans who vigorously encouraged the candidates to participate, submitted questions, and passed around the information to their members and fellow patriots. Let’s hope this is the first of many opportunities to examine candidates from our perspective!
