  1. We are the 4th largest city in the US and the national media and personalities are not speakers. San Antonio has Glenn Beck. I guess they are treating us like they treat the Rockets and Astros when they are in the playoffs.

I hope you attended a tea party today. This link http://houtontps.org describes the party in Houston consisting of an overflow crowd (4K plus) downtown limited in size by our so-called bi-partisan mayor Bill White (former head of the democrat party of Texas) shutting off access to Jones Plaza under the guise of interrupting traffic flow. However, he was able to shake loose a hundred officers to prevent access rather than doing traffic control. The event was attended by young families with children, veterans, and tax paying citizens from across the spectrum. It was an encouraging display of our freedom. No politicians present but genuine respectful anger expressed on the part of average Houston citizens towards the elitists who are stealing our children’s future. From the hundreds of homemade displays, Obama and his socialist agenda were in the cross hairs. Many of the signs indicated congress was equally unpopular. An overriding message was ‘Dump the politicians’. Let’s pray this happens.

My sister, daughter and I brought my handicapped mother in her scooter, being the RIGHT WING SUPREMIST that she is…NOT!!!!! Although we are Daughters of the American Revolution. What a wonderful party to attend. I felt so comfortable being around people that look like normal upstanding, hardworking folks. When I saw different faces, I thought, “Don’t I know you from somewhere?” Could you have been my teacher,m my mechanic, the checker at my grocery store, my doctor, someone from my church, an involved parent at my child’s school, from my neighborhood……then I realized they were all a reflection of me…. AMERICANS who all believe in the Puritin Work Ethic… you don’t work…you won’t survive…but most importantly, standing up for why this country was founded and that is for the Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for all people. A gift from our forefathers who had the wisdom to know that all of these rights are ordained from God Almighty.
