Unemployment Visualization
It’s almost like it did the exact opposite of what they promised!
Oh dear. And I’m serious – I expected the numbers to flatten out like it looked like they were going to a few days ago. This trend is terrible – the unemployment rate change was 60% higher than what was predicted, and is a larger increase than from March to April.
Maybe we’d better just keep focusing on those jobless claims.

But no surprise. Socialism is irrational, and irrationality is anti-reality and anti-life.
Facts won’t faze socialism’s practitioners, though. We could point out that it caused the Great Depression; the 70s gas lines; the destruction and murder in Communist Russia and China.
But with modern “pragmatism,” they’ll say “that was then, this is now; that was them, this is us” — i.e., they will think and act on the (unspoken) premises that there are no timeless, universal principles of human nature and reality. Cause and effect are severed in their minds.
And, besides, they’ll say “but what we are doing is not socialism!” — for they have no conception of the objectivity of definitions or of language/concepts.
Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
