Wow, these were the best of the bunch. I am embarrassed to hear any of these individuals call themselves Conservatives. Could you please call yourselves Republicans. Leave the term Conservative for those who have earned it.
Eddie G. shouldn’t be concerned about the competition, he should try and get his facts straight. I’ve had 3 deployments to Afghanistan, and on my last one, I was able to shake the hand of then Senator Obama. I wish we had cheerleaders coming out to where I was stationed. But it was pretty cool to meet him.
I didn’t vote for the man, but he spoke to my men and I, and he certainly didn’t play any basketball.
Eddie G., I may be fighting to keep this nation safe, but I try not to think about the fact that people like you whine, but you never serve.

For inexperienced public speakers, they performed great. As time goes on, these Patriots will be the food which encourages others to participate.
Give these three a bigger stage so they can hone their well deserved act of Patriotism and Courage it took to come forward and participate in the democracy of our great nation, these United States of America.

If we cannot allow six extra minutes for two additional Patriots to speak, then all of this effort across the country is for naught. Patriots should not have to compete to have their voices heard. It goes directly against what we are fighting for, OUR RIGHTS and our voices to be heard and represented.
Jon C’s comment is entirely rude to all three ranters. I watched the videos, I am a ranter in the videos and I did not mention that I was either a republican or a conservative. I do think I am conservative, but I do not claim a party at this time b/c I don’t see one that represents me at this time. I suppose if we all are not successful in teaching the representatives to be conservative or getting real conservatives in I will hold my nose and go vote like last year, but I can guarantee I will never vote for a democrat after this last 5 months of tyranny.
John C’s comment shows up if you post this on facebook and it is really quite a rude comment to those of us who ranted, not merely for a spot on the 3rd (heck, I’m not running for anything, I’m a stay-at-home mom), but to have fun, vent and raise money for Tea Party.
Lighten up JC. I’d love to know why the three ranters (myself included) aren’t good enough to be “conservative”.
I felt Nick and Edie did a great job and are fine conservatives.
I grew up in a time when taking a hand out was nothing to be proud of. These days I hear people bragging about what they can get for free from the government. It’s this mentality that has brought us to where we are today.
Please help us to promote Americans who earn the right to be proud of taking care of them selves. If we reward those who take from those who work, soon there will be no one in the kitchen to serve, as everyone will be standing in the soup line. God help us. What a crazy world, those of us who defend the constitution are considered the radicals… God help us… Hitler was an eloquent speaker too. Please wake up America. Please wake up…

Eddie might not have served, but did you rant? Have you ever been to a tea party? These people are not experts but merely people out there trying to fight for our freedoms just like you. I appreciate them taking the time out of their busy day to speak out. Lets cheer for all who at this point are willing to fight the good fight.

Topgun and Judy M, are you guys blind?! These 3 ARE getting heard! The mere fact that there is a contest here is DRIVING MORE people over here to see all of them. If it weren’t for this, these 3 wouldn’t be getting their voices heard at all!
I applaud the HTPS people for doing all this hard work and helping get the message from normal people out, and I hope to see the winner onstage on July 3rd!

Lisa, fear of public speaking is GREATER than the fear of death, so I definitely don’t like to understate the bravery!
That said, Josh is right. All of the winners will be heard in SOME way, but time constraints require us to limit the program to one of the three on July 3rd. You’ll definitely hear from them again!
