Stand Up For Texas Recap!
The Stand Up For Texas Rally in Austin Saturday was a great success! Thousands of patriots from tea party groups around the state converged on the Capitol to talk about how to take action. Steven Crowder, Kevin Jackson and Joe the Plumber all energized and inspired the crowd, along with speakers from all over Texas. This was grassroots cooperation at its finest, as Houston Tea Party Society joined forces with groups from Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, McAllen, Wichita Falls, Katy, Baytown and other cities to plan this joint rally.

Final count for Rally?
3000-6000, around 4000? It’s hard to get a good count in a big open area like that and many did not pick up armbands, making at *least* 3000.
I tried to find out about the Tea Party but could not find anything on the Internet. Why wasn’t I notified? I’m sure there are a lot more like me. Can you tell me if anything is planned for 9/12 in Houston or Texas? Please let me know if there is. Ollie Hadfield

Archer, I guess people were so exhausted from rallies in San Antonio, Waco, and Dallas that they couldn’t make it down. Ah, well, next time!

3,000 to 6,000 poorly informed voters, shouting about issues they haven’t bothered to put any effort into understanding; you aren’t patriots, you are the problem.
When Dick Armey is running this thing, and no one bothers to question that, I have to wonder if any of you ever read a newspaper in the past 20 years.
Armey is/was a paid lobbyist for the health insurance industry up through this year. He has been on government health insurance from his time in the House of Reps until he turned 65.
He actually sued the federal government because he didn’t want to give up his House of Rep insurance plan, but wanted to collect social security benefits.
I am embarrassed that any of you call yourselves Americans, let alone patriots.
